Emergency First Aid with CPR (Level C) Course

Course Highlights

  • Participate in a fun, interactive learning environment
  • Learn simple techniques for First Aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
  • Learn safety and healthy lifestyle choices which are key to illness and injury prevention
  • Red Cross Instructors individualize the training and provide continuous feedback which increases skill retention so that participants are more likely to feel prepared to apply skills in an emergency situation

Course Prerequisites

  • None necessary

The Course Covers:

  • The Emergency Medical Services System
  • Check, Call, Care Principles
  • Airway and Breathing Emergencies
  • Cardiovascular Emergencies/Strokes
  • CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillation)
  • Bleeding Management and Shock
  • Secondary Survey
  • Preventing of Disease Transmission
  • The Red Cross

Time Commitment: 7 to 8 hours                               Course Fee: $65.00

Certification:

Canadian Red Cross certification is provided in class.  The certification is valid for three years.

Recertification:

The Canadian Red Cross recommends retraining every three years.
